We have three schemes for cars and vans of up to 3.5 ton which cover the difference between an insurer’s total loss settlement and the amount you still owe on finance should a total loss occur. These include:

Financed GAP

• Cover for single vehicles, specified vehicles or fleets
• Up to £10,000 deficit
• Standard value limits of £75,000 for cars and £40,000 for vans, higher limits can be arranged
• For both new and used vehicles of up to eight years old
• A one-off premium from £195 + 5% IPT per vehicle
• 60 months cover or the length of your finance agreement (whichever is shorter)
• Only applies to vehicles which are insured on a fully comprehensive basis
• Policies are not transferable to new/other vehicles

• Cover for single vehicles, specified vehicles or fleets
• Up to £15,000 or £25,000 deficit
• Standard value limits of £80,000
• For both new and used vehicles of up to five years old
• A one-off premium from £195 + 5% IPT per vehicle
• 36 months cover from the purchase date of your vehicle
• Only applies to vehicles which are insured on a fully comprehensive basis
• Policies are not transferable to new/other vehicles

Contract hire/Lease hire

• Cover for single vehicles, specified vehicles or fleets
• Up to £10,000 deficit
• Standard value limits of £100,000 (your monthly contract hire repayment must not be more then £1,000 excluding VAT)
• For both new and used vehicles of up to five years old
• A one-off premium from £210 + 5% IPT per vehicle
• 48 months cover or the length of your finance agreement (whichever is shorter)
• Your policy must be incepted within three months of the contract/lease hire
• Only applies to vehicles which are insured on a fully comprehensive basis
• Policies are not transferable to new/other vehicles
